Please please keep donating so we can help tragic Boshie. Our rescue of him is unconditional simply because he needs us and we have no idea what we are up against with recuperation time and vets fees to make him better and we are desperate to give him everything he needs. We have no reserves and have so many dogs in our care all depending on us for their survival. Boshie needs to have his own pot to pay the extra emergency boarding fees and vets fees. We cannot do this great act of pure goodness without you. Together we are the angels that Boshie desperately needs. Together let's undo the terrible wrong that has been done to him. 🆘***URGENT APPEAL FOR THIS POOR BOY 🆘 - PLEASE HELP US TO HELP HIM***
We have just been asked by the pound to help this poor emaciated boy! 💔He is terrified and fear reactive at the moment He is nearly two years old and called Boshie. We estimate his body score to be below 1. He has been growling in his kennel and will scream when anyone goes in and go into the back of the kennel as if he has been hit before he came to the pound💔
With the right care, patience and tlc the pound believe he could be a sweet boy.
Our hearts have gone out to him and we desperately want to help him and we beg of you to help us to do that🙏🏻
He needs to go into our Cottam kennels so we can care for him properly but we have no space unless we move a trained dog into emergency boarding which will cost £10 per night and we have no spare funds to be able to do that as we are struggling very badly…
His rescue is unconditional as we have no idea at the moment how long it will take us to work with him and get his weight back on him or what veterinary issues he might have but we will give him all the time and care he needs. But to do this we need to urgently raise 6 months emergency boarding which is £1800 plus extra funds for the unknown veterinary costs for this sweet boy and we need to raise that very quickly.
To take him without having his own funds would mean we would be putting all our other dogs at risk and we just can't do that.
Please help us to help him 🙏🏻 and we will drive and get him and bring him home and make his world right again but we can't do this without you….

MY NAME IS CORTANA AND I NEED YOUR HELP
Do you have room in your heart and home for me? Doris Banham Dog Rescue are helping my Mum and Dad to find me a new home. They love me very much and I have been with my family since I was a pup and have got on really well with all my human and furry brothers and sisters. We have been so happy but I am now 11 years old and a new little human has come into my family and I don’t know why but we don’t get on and won’t be able to live together much longer in the same house. He is walking now and when he came past me I snapped and knocked him over.
So I am looking for a new home with humans at least over 10 years old and I don’t like cats very much. When I am in the right home I am a truly good girl, although I am a bit nervous when I first meet people but warm up once I am comfortable. I am fully house trained and do not do any damage when left alone. I know lots of commands and enjoy playing fetch and love to play. I really love my furry siblings and all the other furry friends I meet on walks. I am spayed and I travel well in the car
My favourite thing in the world is to curl up on the sofa for cuddles and kisses and love being close to my people.

Remember Athena? She is a one year old GSD cross staffy and her death was imminent. We were asked by Almas and Makkos Furry Friends to save Athena but we had no space anywhere. With no other rescue offers we had to do something, we thought outside the box and saved her life!.
She was placed in emergency boarding at OEH under Doris Banham Dog Rescue until we had space to take her to our kennels. The cost per night at OEH is £15.00 and this was so generously funded by Almas and Makkos Furry Friends for 6 weeks but they are unable to help any further…
📣 Please help us to fund the emergency boarding costs. Although we were full we did not say no but found another way to save her so please help us to complete this miraculous change of fate for this gorgeous girl.
💔In this terrible rescue world we are now living in we have to try everything to keep dogs from dying but funds are so very short and we desperately need your help to continue to shield Athena from a ruthless world which sought to kill her. So please help now so we can do this again for another dog who is as desperate as Athena. The next four weeks will be due now and that is £450
